went on duck&hippo tour yest. yoohoo. i learnt so much abt s'pore! which is a good thing cos it sparked my interest in tourism. heh. did u know we are gonna like build the largest ferris wheel ever and it can go all the way up to abt 45 storeys high!! is tt cool or what. haha. s'pore is amazing. :D

they stand at a height of 280m and like the tallest buildings ard. and they gonna be yet the tallest cos the limit for the highest buildings are only gg to stand at a height of 245m. yup. (:

erm this is st andrew's cathedral and it has been struck thrice by lightning and once at the courtyard. accdg to the tour guide, it's kind of spooky cos it was nvr the tallest building ard, esp not when it was struck in the courtyard. which turned out to be badly damaged and they had to rebuilt it.
ok guys, this is the notorious(sp?) mica (say mee-kay) building! ok this has nth to do with theduck&thehippo but i tink it will bring some fond memories to the some of us. (:
fullerton hotel. superb hotel, nonetheless cannot be compared to raffles hotel. used to be some british post office i tink. i cant rmb much abt this though.
ok abt raffles hotel, the last tiger was shot in there under some billiard table and hmm, the windows are bullet-proof! some of the guest are michael jackson and queen elizabeth. oh and u cant jst walk in and book a room. there is alr a 2mth waiting list btw. their president suite is 6000+ sing dollars per night. wow!
new version of supreme court and it's situated nxt to the old one. the old one looks like some old british building and this new one is jst totally cool and it even has a viewing gallery which is open to public. (:

oh yes, there's talks going on tt the disneyland here is probably being made indoors due to the heat in s'pore. if it rlly becomes reality, then this is gonna be the first even indoor disneyland. (:

after hearing all this, how can u say u're not gonna be proud of s'pore? the country even to transform with the greatest impact in a short period of time, supposedly la. from the times when jurong swamps were infested with crocodiles to the time when jurong becomes an industrial estate..gosh!
the only coloured hdb buildings in s'pore. the tour guide says ppl living there can nvr be afraid tt their visitors will get lost cos they jst have to say for eg green building and they sure know the way le. (:
